CONNECTIVITY - five-way better

The Nicco Park - New Town Expressway

Cruise along the Eastern Bypass; turn towards Nicco Park and take the road between Nicco Park and Nalban. You will be on the proposed expressway to Rajarhat New Town. With every turn of the wheel you will feel as if you are leaving the city behind. The din and bustle of the corporate jungle is replaced with sprawling water bodies on both sides. Keep cruising, cross the Krishnapur Canal by the new 6-lane bridge, proceed a little further, turn right - and you are at Sanjeeva Town, just 4 Km, from Nicco Park.

The exclusive 100 ft. road

This road is built to serve Sanjeeva Town. Both the main entrance and main exit of the project lie on this road. The Aquatica Water Amusement Park stands right on the other side. By this road, the New Town (with all its modern features and facilities) is just a couple of minutes away, so is the intersection on the Rajarhat Expressway.

The Eastern Bypass

This great stretch, connecting every part of Kolkata from Garia to Ultadanga, is just 4 km, from Sanjeeva Town. It will whiz you to many parts of Kolkata from the complex. Park Street will be 20-25 minutes away by the Prak Circus Connector. The Rashbehari Connector will bring Gariahat-Golpark within easy reach. It will also help you reach Salt Lake or Ultadanga crossing in just about 10 minutes.
The south-side road

Another road connects Sanjeeva Town to the bridge on Krisnapur Canal via the Nicco Park-New Town Expressway. Sanjeeva Town will have its second entrance on this road.

The Rajarhat Expressway

The vanguard of tomorrow's Kolkata, the Rajarhat Expressway is another lifeline of the city. This is an 8-lane highway; the last one on each side is a service road. The other three lanes on each side are speed-controlled roads for different vehicles. This road, connecting Eastern Bypass and VIP Road, will simply fly you to the airport, Salt Lake or to the NH 34 from Sanjeeva Town.

Rajarhat New Town - the future is here


The future dwelling place for 7.5 lakh people form all income groups, Rajarhat New Town will be an ultra-modern township on 3075 hectares of land. A completely planned project, this will become the new destination of tomorrow's Kolkata. The place will be rich in modern features like:

  • Waterway from Chitpur to Rajarhat- a 43 km, canal from the Hooghly, with halts at R.G. Kar Medical College, Ultadanga, Keshtopur, Bhangar and Kulti Gang, Rs. 9 crore has already been allotted by HUDCO for the first part of the project.

  • A new IT hub on 500 acres, a project of Webel and US multinational CB Richard Ellis. The latter will develop the hub to suit multinationals. The housing department has already provided 10 acres to Webel.

  • Metro Rail corridor- from Rajarhat township to Dasnagar (Howrah). Jetro of Japan has already drawn up the feasilbility report. The government plans to ask the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to draw up the detailed project report.

  • Power generation venture - by HUDCO and West Bengal State Electricity Board, WBSEB has already prepared the blueprint and work will start soon. An 11-KVA sub-station has already been constructed.

  • Other Important developments include:

    >>  A mammoth commercial and shopping complex on 10 acres (City Centre, Kolkata's biggest shopping mall at Salt Lake is on 6.5 acres)

    >>  An art exhibition centre spanning 45 bighas

    >>  A recreation zone with country club, water sports and eco-park

    >>  Premium schools of Kolkata are planning their branches over here

    Such developments will also bring a great many other schools, colleges, hospitals, nursing homes and other commercial & service establishments to Rajarhat. All these facilities will be just a couple of minutes away for the residents of Sanjeeva Town.

The DLF Commercial Complex - set for completion by 2006, it will be a nerve centre of Kolkata's 21st century commerce. It will have 13 lakh sq. ft. of commercial space along with retail outlets, food courts and entertainment opportunities spread over 3 fifteen storeyed towers. About 15000 people will be working in its offices.
Healthcare near home


Sanjeeva Town will be well connected to some of the best healthcare centres of today's Kolkata - Ruby, Suraksha and Apollo Glengleas on the Eastern Bypass, Jeevan Satya and Anandalok in Salt Lake. Two more mega projects of international standard are coming up here. The first is on 25 acres off the Eastern Bypass. The other, the biggest anywhere in India, will have 50 multidimensional health facilities in one campus (The Telegraph, 6th September, '04). The medical spa of Vedic Village will be just 20 minutes away. Besides these, Sanjeeva Town will also be served by all the healthcare facilities coming up in Rajarhat New Town.
Quality education


Sanjeeva Town will help your children have the best education. Some of Kolkata's most reputed schools will be easily accessible from the complex. They will include the Delhi Public School, Heritage School, BD School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Haryana Vidyamandir and many more planned on the Bypass and Rajarhat.

Leisure is a pleasure when you are living at Sanjeeva Town. The Aquatica Water Amusement Park is just across the road, Nalban and Nicco PArk are only five minutes away.
